On August 17, 2006 amid bad weather, The DBP Forest Project has successfully launched at Brgy. Dimasalan, Maria Aurora, Aurora. It was attended by Guests from DBP Head Office headed by Patricia Sto. Tomas, Government Officials and various cooperative groups in Central Aurora. Two projects of the Provincial Government of Aurora was also launched, The Organic Vegetable Farming Project and Development and Promotion of Pottery and Clay Brick Industry in partnership with Food Basket program and DOST, respectively.

DBP Chair Patricia A. Sto. Tomas delivered an inspirational message. Incidentally her maiden name was Aragon. and she pleaded to be one of the adopted daughter of Aurora.
